We cannot recommend Lisa Johnson highly enough for both selling your current house and helping you find your next one. When we decided to sell, Lisa came to our house armed with a binder full of every house that had sold in our neighborhood in the last year, every house that was currently on the market, and every house that she knew would be coming onto the market to compete against ours in the coming months. We then discussed each house, compared them to ours, and weighed how it would affect the listing price of our house. We also discussed the best time of year to list our house and how our pricing expectations should change based on when we finally went to market. Next, Lisa walked through our entire house, giving us notes as to how to prepare our house for both the professional pictures she would take for our house’s website as well as how best to present the house during the first open house. She then came back about two weeks later to check in on our progress and see if there was anything she could do to help. After doing everything Lisa had instructed us to do, our house never looked better. Lots of de-cluttering, depersonalization, and some touch-up paint, and the house was ready for pictures. Lisa’s team took stunning pictures of our house and created a virtual tour as well. The online presentation showed our house to the world in the absolute best light possible. Our house hit the market on a Wednesday, and we had our first open house that following Sunday. Lisa and her team held an incredibly successful open house with tons of prospects coming through the house. Her team then spent the next 48 hours contacting everyone who came through the house or contacted them through the MLS system encouraging them to act quickly. We received multiple offers on our house, worked with Lisa to pick the strongest contract, and had a ratified contract before the end of the following week. Lisa made the negotiations and closing a painless experience for us. She knew every potential pitfall in the process and worked proactively to help us avoid them. Closing occurred on time, with no surprises. Selling your house can be extremely stressful. Being open with Lisa about what is most important to you during this process is incredibly important. For us, it was attracting a buyer quickly and making sure they would close, as opposed to getting the absolute highest price for our house, which could have taken longer or necessitated us listing at a different time of year. Because we listened to Lisa when it came to pricing and the pre-listing work on our house, she was able to deliver everything she promised: the right buyer, with the best closing timeframe, at the right price.
